Dr. Richard T. Steffen received his medical training from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami and performed his residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has completed his fellowship in sports medicine. He specializes in surgical treatment of shoulder, hip and knee injuries.
